This is the corniche / beach of Casablanca City, called "Ain Diab".
We originally wanted to create an Earth Cache on this site because of the unusual rocks you find here in the middle of the sandy beach. Their remarkable structure and position are very interesting but we could not find any informations of the geological origin and the formation of these rocks.
So we placed a cache container on one of the rocks.
Maybe there are Cachers with geological knowledge who can provide informations and so we can change this cache to an Earth cache in the future. ( which would be great because cache containers continiously disappear in morocco).
You can come to Ain Diab either by car ( parking is possible on the street) or by Tramway ( from the city center with T1 to " Ain Diab Terminus" , which is the last stop- one way ticket ist 8 Dirhams from any station.
No climbing necessary. Note that the surrounding is not always clean, unfortunately people do not keep the beach and the nature clean.
