Geocache Description:

This event will take place in the Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Centennial Library's Program Room. 50 East Street.

Saturday July 8, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Its purpose is to provide an opportunity for novice geocachers to meet experienced cachers and receive basic instruction and practice in the sport / hobby.

Instruction in the use of GPS-enabled smart phones of the iPhone and Android varieties will be provided.

As well, outdoor practice in the vicinity is planned, weather permitting.

Bring your curiosity, your smartphone and your friends to check out this addictive hobby.

For anyone new to geocaching, we recommend that you sign up for a free geocaching membership at www.geocaching.com before arriving at the event. This will enable you to find geocaches on the day of the event. See you at the Centennial Public Library on East Street, downstairs in the Program / Story Room. Shaw WIFI available on site.
