Martin Luther King was an activist who became the most visible spokesperson and leader in the Civil Rights Movement. MLK believed the best way to advance this cause was through nonviolence and wrote many speeches. Most notably, his “I Have a Dream Speech” is ranked the top American speech of the 20th century and called for an end to racism.
William Shakespeare is considered one of the best writers of all time. His plays have been translated into every major living language and are performed more often than those of any other playwright. Many believe Shakespeare was the first Poet Laureate.
Best of luck hunting my cache near the Civil Rights Museum. Across the street and high above GZ, one must identify the Shakespearean play represented in the mural and use the year of the date the play was first performed to gain access to the cache. Please bring a writing utensil and return as found. While Shakespeare and MLK are no longer physically with us today, their words continue to stir our emotions and have ripping effects that will last for many generations to come. May peace be with you on your journey.
