There are various routes to reach this cache. The most straight forward is up the jeep track from Constantia Nek. Turn off the main path at S 33 59.147 E 018 24.299 and head towards the ridge on your left. The path goes through some tall greenery, however it is still fairly easy to follow...but you may want to keep an eye out for critters lurking on the path.
Once you start heading up the ridge, there are a couple of interesting, but not too difficult scrambles before you reach the top. When you get to S33 59.189 E 018.24.131, you will see a hole going down into the rocks. Yes, you need to go down there, but don't be concerned if you don't like caves - this one is quite open. Shimmy along the crevice and you will pop out into a lovely cave garden overlooking Victoria dam. A perfect spot for your lunch.
The cache is on the ledge about 2m above the ground at GZ.
When you take a look around the caves, you will see old graffiti on the walls all dated 1972. So here are some fun facts from that year:
