This is the eighth in our series of caches designed to share the awe-inspiring scenery and rich history of Highway 14 along the Columbia River. Unlike most of the other caches in the series, this one requires no calculator. We hope you enjoy this walk as much as we do.


This is your opportunity to walk right down the middle of Highway 14 like you own the road! The scenery here is great, but watch out for poison oak along the way. (See photos below.) Avoiding it isn't difficult, just be aware that it is very prevalent in the area.

The best parking spot for this cache is at N45°42.309 / W121°22.997. The walk is just under 3/8 of a mile on a fairly level surface.
