A small series which takes in a lovely walk around a local beauty spot. Listerdale woods has long been a favourite of adults and children for many generations.
This side of the woods rises steeply and exits in Flanderwell at the top of the Dalton back lanes. You'll notice a great deal of large boulders littering the hillside and a veritable carpet of new growth beyond. I've placed this here just for you to stop and appreciate the view. When this cache has been placed (early May) the bluebells are just in full bloom and the sight is truly glorious.Take a moment and enjoy this view.
