Geocache Description:


Besides trains, I am also an avid plane enthusiast. This cache is my first Departure (:P) from my Gandydancer series, as well as my first nano. This is a beautiful, quiet, and remote place to watch planes. It is best when the winds at the sunport are heading west, which allows for arrivals 8 & 3. For those not familiar, the start of runway 8 is next to you, with the orange poles that have strobe lights on top, at the top of the hill. Planes that are landing will come in low and slow, while departing planes ( from the other end of the runway) will be loud and climbing high. Also a great alternative to the cell phone lot when picking up loved ones. The Cache itself can hold tiny trinkets, and tweezers may be needed for the log. Anyway, have fun!
