[CMRT] - Pipeline Track Traditional Cache

The [CMRT] series is a small series of caches at points of interest along the recently opened Castlemaine to Maldon rail trail. At the time of cache placement, this is the newest rail trail in Victoria and runs beside the Victorian Goldfields Tourist Railway.

This cache is located at the 'pipeline track' railway crossing - a location I've used in the past whilst photographing trains on the line.

No matter which direction you're heading, the rail trail deviates away from the railway at this point before rejoining it further on.

Please remember that you are near an active railway. Trains can run on any day of the week and at any time. Please stay well clear of the railway tracks.
