Geocache Description:

*The reference coordinates are not to be used as the cache is NOT hidden there*

Don’t you just love Geocaching for the versatility it offers which allows one to create caches on any subject matter under the sun, even when you make a mistake, like I did, on this one (GC753J2). This was the Cinco de Mayo cache originally, but when I checked the hidden date above I found I had made it a day too early, due to the time zone difference, being created on the 4th instead of the 5th May. I had started dabbling with it then, looking for a cache name to suit, but the wrong date thing was off putting so I left it aside for almost a year and continued instead with creating Cinco and 6 others. But it was also the fact that I had no hiding place for it as my final 2 or 3 spots were allocated and I was squeezing in caches within the 161m rule.

Having a veritable logjam of caches to publish at that time too made it so easy to ignore this cache, and it got left on the shelf, until now, that is. I have to confess I traipsed the local canals, 1 waterway and 3 local parks before finding a home for this one, as hiding spaces near me are at a premium now, especially in Dublin. I’m making a drama out of all this, but in a good cause because I eventually found one spare spot for hiding this cache when another 2 got archived. Here I go again, wandering off topic and not concentrating 100% on the business at hand. Now I am reaching the conclusion of this diatribe which hopefully will enlighten everyone as to the whereabouts of G Zero. I took my time writing this one as its 253+ days, and counting, since the hidden date, but one might say it was worth it in the end.

Congratulations gaffer.gamgee on the FTF!!!
