You will need to leave the main hiking trail and head up a steep slope. After leveling off, head towards the back of the clearing towards a small tree.
Our scout troop attended scout camp on Catalina Island for a week and decided on placing a geocache. We transported the cache can from Chandler, Arizona for placement on the island.
The cache was set up in a 2 lb. tin colored coffee can. Geocache label on outside. Treasures include an alarm clock, Star Wars Light Saber pen, Intel key chain, golf ball, mouse toy and a few other items. Note book for logging visits and thoughts.
7/16/04 Coffee can replaced with plastic container, label taped to the inside.
