This cache is part of a series of caches that Girl Scout Troop 1651 hid in the Truman Lake area during a weekend campout in April 2017. This cache was placed by Leah. It is an easy, year round at the Lost Valley Hatchery.
The Lost Valley Fish Hatchery is the largest state owned, warm water hatchery in Missouri and one of the largest in the nation.
While at the hatchery, spend some time in the visitor’s center. Kids under 16 years of age are able to fish for free in the fishing pond with all equipment provided.
The area is open Tuesday – Saturday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
