Анна Ярославна (XI ст.) - дочка Великого князя Київського Ярослава Мудрого, онука короля Швеції Улофа III Шетконунга.
Вона була дружиною французького короля Генріха I Капета, королевою Франції, матір’ю короля Філіпа І. В історії Анна залишилася як прабабця майже 30 французьких королів.
Анна Ярославна народилася близько 1024 року. Її дитячі роки пройшли в Києві. Анна зростала в культурній атмосфері держави, що на той час вважалася однією з найрозвиненіших у світі. Приватні вчителі навчали князівну грамоти, історії, іноземних мов, співів, малювання, правил етикету.
Наприкінці 40-х років XI століття Київська держава встановила дружні стосунки з Францією. 1048 року до Києва прибуло французьке посольство на чолі з єпископом Готьє Савояром, яке дістало згоду Великого князя на шлюб з французьким королем. Анна Ярославна, здійснивши тривалу подорож через Краків, Прагу та Регенсбург, опинилася в резиденції короля в місті Санлісі, за 40 кілометрів від Парижа.
19 травня 1051 року відбулося вінчання та коронування Анни. Тоді вона прийняла латинство, і в другому хрещенні дістала ім'я Агнеси. У 1053 році Анна народила сина Філіпа, пізніше Робера та Гуго.
З моменту коронування і до самої смерті королева Анна приймала активну участь в житті Франції, про що можна довідатися в різних історичних джерелах.
Щороку 5 вересня у заснованому нею монастирі у місті Санлісі (курортне містечко за 40 км від Парижа) відправляється богослужіння за її душу.

Anna Yaroslavna was born approximately in 1024. Kyiv was the place in which she lived in her childhood. Anna was growing up in the one of a significant city of the world in that period of time, which considered as the most advanced in the world. Private teachers taught her literacy, history, foreign languages, singing, drawing, etiquette.
In the late 40-ies XI century Kiev state has established friendly relations with France. 1048 came to Kyiv French embassy headed by Bishop Gauthier Savoyard, which obtained the consent of the Yaroslav to marry the French King. Anne of Kyiv reached the finish of a long journey through Krakow, Prague and Regensburg and finally he arrived to the residence of King in Senlis, 40 kilometers from Paris.
May 19, 1051 there was a wedding and coronation of Anne. Then she took Latinism and received the name of Agnes. In 1053, Anna gave birth to a son Philip, later Robert and Hugo.
Since the coronation until her death Queen Anne took an active part in the life of France, information about that could be found in various historical sources.
Every year on September 5 in the monastery that founded by Ann in Senlis (resort town 40 km from Paris) in her honor, for centuries an annual dinner for widows is organized in Senlis.
