This cache is placed with the intention of being found for the Spring Cache Challenge 2017.
If you want to participate, please do not find caches until 6 pm on Friday, May 12.
When I was younger I used to live in this area. One day, while riding my bike around, I came across a long straight level trail in the forest. It was fantastic. It took me through rock cuts, past ponds, and along high embankments. It was an old abandoned railway line. I never went back, and for many years, I had a hard time figuring out how to access this rail-trail. This spring, I've rediscovered the trail, the rock cuts, ponds and embankments. And, I've hidden a series of caches along it. I hope you enjoy them. As with all caches along this trail, you will find the cache on the west side of the trail. Towards the east, you may see "No Trespassing" signs. Please respect these signs.
