How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is a traveling cache. Thank you to Groundspeak for re-activating the ability to update the cache coordinates.

* This cache is meant to be passed from cacher to cacher. If you are in possession of the cache and meet another cacher on the trail AND they accept the responsibility for the cache you may pass it off to them. There is no particular destination or purpose for this item, just to travel and spread the Caching Karma.
Please email me when the cache changes hands or locations so that I may keep the location current for all those who may be seeking it.

JUST SO THERE IS NO MISUNDERSTANDING ON HOW THIS CACHE SHOULD WORK HERE IS THE EXACT GUIDANCE I HAVE RECEIVED FROM GROUNDSPEAK HQ:

"Since this is a well-loved cache, we're open to a compromise that bridges it between a trackable and a true traveling cache (that should be left from place to place).
To clarify, the goal of this trackable should not be to travel to events and be discovered by attendees without passed off to a new owner. If not being left in place for others to find, the goal can and should now be for the cache to be handed off from one owner to the next - this can happen at an event, or anywhere else.
We ask that clarification be added to the cache page to help people use the cache correctly. There must be some element the cache that behaves as traveling caches were originally intended.  Otherwise, if it continues to behave like a trackable, it will be at risk for archival."

Reviewer notes

Use this space to describe your geocache location, container, and how it's hidden to your reviewer. If you've made changes, tell the reviewer what changes you made. The more they know, the easier it is for them to publish your geocache. This note will not be visible to the public when your geocache is published.
