How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

All of the walk is either along the canal towpath or on a public footpath, it also goes through a Christmas tree farm and goes over the railway a few times.

Our Tricky Trail is comprised of 7 caches which are all disguised in different ways with no clues or container types. Some are easier than others, have fun searching!

Don’t forget to note the letter values located at the top of the log sheet to find the bonus cache at the end.

Parking

I usually start at Hatton locks car park  (N 52° 17.994 W 001° 38.699 ) and walk all the way up to the caches and do a loop, alternatively there is parking in and around Shrewley which is a bit closer to the first cache.

Hatton locks car park has a charge of £1.50 for the day.

Things To Note

  • Tweezers will be needed.
  • some parts of the walk can get overgrown so wear appropriate clothes.

I would love to hear your logs on my new caches.

Any logs containing photos of the cache container will be deleted.

Well done to StrongsRus for getting FTF on this one
