"Denali" was the name given by the local Koyukon people. Formally it was known as Mount McKinley from 1917 until 2015. [Wikipedia]
Located in the northern section of Avon Valley National Park. Access is via unsealed roads, mostly by 4WD, though regular 2WD cars could make it (as did I) with careful driving; but best avoided after heavy rainfall. Do keep alert during periods of extreme fire danger risk. Stay hydrated.
