This little cache is hidden at a neat little kiosk in Hartman Creek State Park where you can learn a little about the Ice Age and the Ice Age National Scenic Trail here in Wisconsin. HCSP has many great trails: hiking and biking, XC Ski and snowmobile, horse trails, and of course a portion of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Come on out to this spot where you can park quite close to this hide, find this cache and begin a hike/or bike to so many other great caches in the area.
Trying to keep with my HCSP and IAT trails type caches this spot seemed to be the perfect spot to place a new cache and give an intro to the area. Although this cache is not along the IAT, the nearby HC trails link up with the IAT not to far away. This cache is winter friendly as usual and please note that certain trails are designated only for specific modes of travel; please consult a trail map from the Park Office for each trail section that you utilize. Hunting is also allowed in certain areas of the Park during designated seasons - please check at the Park office for more information.
