The Guysborough County section of the Great Trail (TCT) starts in Guysborough town, following the abandoned railroad bed, toward Pictou County. The trail is still under construction in sections. It is a multi-use trail. Please take time to enjoy the view of the many lakes and streams along the mostly tree lined corridor. The original railway construction took place in 1930-32, however the rails were never laid in Guysborough County because the NS government cancelled the project. For almost 80 years this section was abandoned until the Guysborough County Trails Association and the Broadhorns and St. Mary's ATV clubs and others worked hard to construct this section of the "Great Trail". Three major bridges, recently erected, connect Country Harbour to Aspen. All caches are within the boundary of the TCT. Some are easy to access while others may require crossing wet ditches and stepping over windfalls. Some caches are winter friendly however some are on the ground. This section is a puzzle series which predominately honours inhabitants of the woodland near the trail or some history of the trail. A few caches honour Canada 150, celebrating the years 1867-2017. The caches are NOT at the posted coordinates. Answer the questions and use the numbers provided next to the correct answer to complete the partial coordinates given. The Black Bears can live up to 30 years, however, the average lifespan in Nova Scotia is how many years? 12 (614) 18 (416) 21 (446) Coordinates: N 45 16.003 W 061 54.???
