Geocache Description:

Shoshone was established in 1882 with a major railway passing through.

In its early years, travels got off in Shoshone and then took wagons to see the famous Shoshone Falls.

Today, Shoshone is in the middle of a scenic byway. It is one the way to Sun Valley and the Sawtooth mountains.
