Geocache Description:

Introduction:

Asheville, NC was named "Beer City USA" four years in a row. In 2009 Asheville shared the "Beer City" title with Portland, Oregon. In 2010 and 2011, Asheville won the title on its own. In 2012 Asheville tied with Grand Rapids, Michigan for the top spot. In 2013, Asheville finished third on the list and the year after that the poll was retired.

In 2012 Lonely Planet Travel Guide picked Asheville as fourth-best beer city in the US and the Travel Channel put the city in the "Top Seven Beer Destinations." No wonder Western North Carolina was chosen as a new home for some top names in the craft beer industry.

In 2016, Buncombe County was home to 22 craft breweries. Why Asheville and Buncombe county? One of the top reasons is the high quality mountain water which is so important in beer manufacturing.

The Cache:

The cache is not at the listed coordinates. In order to figure the final coordinates for the cache, you will need to visit six locations, the coordinates for which are posted below. At each location, look around and find one of the lettered pictures. Answer the question at that location and substitute your answer for the letter in the final coordinates.

The final cache is at: N 35° 35.ABC W 082° 33.DEF. It is not located anywhere significant to the theme of this cache. At least, not yet. Who knows; with the growth of Asheville, one day it may bring you to a grand location.

The six locations to visit, in no particular order:
N 35° 35.473  W 82° 33.367
N 35° 35.355 W 82° 33.265
N 35° 35.338 W 82° 33.230
N 35° 35.316 W 82° 33.176
N 35° 35.480 W 82° 33.107
N 35° 35.694 W 82° 33.131

The final is an easy park and grab located between half a mile and one mile away, depending on where you finish. There is quick parking near the final. It's not somewhere I would try to park long term, but parking long enough to find the cache and sign the log should be fine.
