One of numerous monuments erected in the area by the Nurom/Whim Historical Group.
Approx. 2.5 kilometres west of this spot off of Nurom Road is the location of a former cricket pitch named after the Stanley Family, not much remains today however remnants of the old pitch are still visible. This spot in its hay day also had a small oval for kicking the football around and a rotunda where illegal Two-Up used to be played.
