Look for the path branching off down to the right. If you pass through 2 small gates and through the underpass (muddy when wet), it will take you to the lake. You may even spot an Osprey during their summer stay across the lake, if not there are many other birds in the area, note the Lake District Nature Reserve Notice Board. If fine, this area is a great spot for a break and anyone with dogs will surely love it.

To reach No. 3 you will need to return through the underpass and gates and continue along the path to the right.
