Hope you are not getting tired of Duck's Gadget caches yet. As with all gadget caches there is no need to pry, remove screws, or tear anything apart to access the log. But, there maybe some head scratching necessary to figure some things out.
There is parking along the county road or you can pull off the main road and park on the old logging road, which is down the fill slope, but most vehicles should make it.
