If you finished getting the challenge caches on Saturday but didn't get a chance to pick up your coin, they will be available for pickup today.
After a snack, we will hike around the park picking up trash in an area of park needing attention were we will give back to the State Park making more areas cleaner than before we were there. So bring gloves, sunscreen, water, mosquito repentant and perhaps a walking stick. We will have a little water. The area is open to the public in the park and the area wasn't part of our event area.
A Friends of Sacajawea rep will help guild us with this clean up event while discussing some post trip history of Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery based on a book by T. P Slaughter. This years history will be focused on what happen to eveyone after the trip! Then we will head to our next assigned geocaching or home location! Happy CITOing!
Remember to CITO all year and we hope to see you next year.
You will need a discover pass to enter park. Parking on side of road outside park is not allowed! Honestly! It will be towed, sorry.
Please log your visit and number in party so we can get our food order right.
(Parents, please watch your children to help ensure no waste of food takes place so everyone has something to eat.)
Expect coffee, juice, fruit and some donuts!
This event is sponsored by Washington State Geocaching Association. If you are a geocacher in the state of Washington, please consider joining WSGA. See the WSGA website for details. |
