Łomianki zanim zostały miastem, miały szanse na zupełnie inny wygląd niż w tej chwili. Kesz zlokalizowany jest w Rajskim Lesie na tyle ile to możliwe w pobliżu Wydmy Łuże w Kampinoskim Parku Narodowym znanym z Atomowej Kwatery Dowodzenia, jak i miejsca rozstrzelań w czasie II wojny światowej (Palmiry). Atomowa Kwatera Dowodzenia powstała po 1962 i od 2004 była opuszczona i dewastowana. W roku 2017 częściowo została wyburzona i przystosowana jako noclegownia dla nietoperzy.
Ale zanim miejsce obrosło tak ponurą historią, mogło tu być zupełnie inaczej. Przenieśmy się trochę w czasie.
Na początku XX wieku nastała moda na miasta-ogrody. Na północ od Warszawy znane jest miasto-ogród Młociny – założone w 1913 i ostatecznie niezrealizowane w całości. Tej budowie towarzyszyło uzyskanie koncesji na budowę kolei – ale tą udało się uruchomić dopiero w 1929 (lata wielkiego kryzysu światowego skutecznie pokrzyżowały plany).
Pomysł budowy miasta-ogrodu Pogórze Leśne pojawił się w 1928 roku. Chciało go zrealizować pięciu udziałowców, którzy zawiązali spółkę „Dąbrowa-Miasto Ogród” z kapitałem w wysokości 250 tys. zł. Według planów osiedle miało zajmować 130 ha w okolicach wydmy Łuże, a dojazd zapewniać miała kolej młocińska. Zaplanowano też komunikację autobusową z Placu Broni na Powązkach, obecnie rejon ulicy Stawki.
Plany były na tyle zaawansowane, że wytyczone ulice naniesiono nawet na mapy wojskowe. Działki miały mieć powierzchnię od 1800 do 5000 metrów kwadratowych, 4 parki i teren handlowo-usługowy, a nawet stadion. W 1930 dokonano parcelacji, ale do roku 1936 sprzedano tylko kilka działek. I w ten sposób miasto Warszawa unieważniło plan zagospodarowania. Powstał plan alternatywny na zbudowanie tu ośrodka wypoczynkowo-rekreacyjnego dostępnego dla ludzi z jeziorkiem do uprawiania sportów wodnych (prawie mini Zalew Zegrzyński). Niestety rok 1939 i wybuch wojny pogrzebał i te plany.
Uwagi od autora
Z uwagi na to, że kesz nie jest sponsorowany przez miasto, a autor miał problem nawet z wyrobieniem pieczątki (związane z prawami do stosowania herbu miasta i jego modyfikacji), autor zmuszony był nawiązać to innych sympatycznych mieszkańców tej okolicy. Komplikacje te miały poważny wpływ na opóźnienia w publikacji tego kesza.
Natomiast plany osady autorowi skojarzyły się z pewną zagadką logiczną, która stanowi jeden z etapów.

Lomianki village before became a town, had a chance to look quite different than today. Cache is located in the Paradise Forest as close as possible to the Łuże Dune in the Kampinos National Park, known from the Atomic Command Headquarter as well as the place of executions during the Second World War (Palmiry). Atomic Command Headquarter was established here after 1962 and since 2004 has been abandoned and devastated. In 2017 it was partially demolished and adapted as a bats sleeping place.
But before the place grew so grim a story, it might have been completely different here. We move a little bit in time.
At the beginning of the twentieth century there was a fashion for the city-gardens. To the north of Warsaw is the ex-town Młociny - founded in 1913 and finally unfinished in its entirety. This construction was accompanied by a concession for the construction of the railway which started in 1929 (the years of the great world crisis effectively thwarted the plans).
The idea of building a garden-city Forest Foothills appeared in 1928. Five shareholders established a company "Dąbrowa-Miasto Ogród" with a capital of 250 thousand. zł. According to plans the estate was to occupy 130 hectares in the vicinity of the Łuże dune. Communication was supported by a railway line from Warszawa Gdańska station and buses from nearby Plan Broni (near Arkadia Shopping Center).
The plans were so advanced that the streets were mapped even on military maps. The plots were to have an area of 1800 to 5000 square meters, 4 parks and shopping and service areas, and even a stadium. In 1930 parcel was made, but by 1936 only a few plots were sold. And thus the city of Warsaw revoked the development plan. An alternative plan has been set up for the construction of a leisure and recreation center accessible to people with a lake for water sports (almost mini Zegrze Reservoir). Unfortunately, the year 1939 and the outbreak of the war ruined these plans.
Comments from the cache owner
Due to the fact that the cache is not sponsored by the city, and the author had a problem even with the creation of a stamp (associated with the right to use the city coat of arms and its modifications), the author was forced to made another one dedicated to other friendly creatures common in the area. These complications have had a serious impact on delays in the publication of this cache.
On the other hand, the plans of the settlement reminds the author a logical puzzle, which is one of the stages.
