Takuboku Ishikawa had been to Kushiro in 1908 as a journalist of Kushiro-Shimbun. Kobunkan is the replica of old Kushiro-Shimbun office, and it is the rest facility and the exhibition place of historical documents related to Takuboku and Kushiro port. Please bring your pen.
著名な歌人、石川啄木は１９０８年釧路新聞の記者として釧路に来ました。港文館は旧釧路新聞社を復元した休憩施設で釧路港と啄木に関する歴史資料が展示されています。またこの前には石川啄木の銅像と歌碑があります。ここにある歌碑も含めて多くの歌碑が南大通を中心にあります。あなたも釧路の街を歩きながら短歌を作ってみてはいかがでしょうか。筆記具を持参ください。
