You will visit up to eight towns from Leominster to Spencer to find the geocaches hidden for this event. Some of the hides are tricky, so be sure to bring your tools of the trade, especially AA and 9V batteries! A smartphone or even a laptop might come in handy, too. The geocaches for this event are hidden by brianwrusso, CacheDweeb, hyliston, Kayak4Geo, mntProf, skristoff, and TheThompy. This couldn't happen without the team effort. Thanks!
Along with the game sheet listing the geocaches, a set of rules and a map of the area will be provided in the morning to help you determine your best plan of attack. Teams are encouraged! You must return to Barrett Park by 4:00 PM, at which point we will score your game sheet. Top teams will earn prizes. We'll have a drawing for door prizes as well.
The Leominster Recreation Department is sponsoring this event, which starts and finishes at the recently renovated Barrett Park. Please bring a cooler and enjoy a late afternoon picnic in the park. There are also over 2 miles of trails to hike (with geocaches!), a playground for the kids, and a large pond for fishing (with a license). Alcohol, swimming, and dogs are not allowed in the park.

Participation in the actual Dash is not necessary to sign the log book and "attend" the event. Just visit Barrett Park at 8AM or between 3 and 4PM, and we will have the log book under the pavilion ready to sign. The organizers will be available by 7:45AM in case you have questions before the game sheets are handed out or want to sign the log early. Every minute will count!
