Another year has passed! It's time to celebrate the birth of the world's oldest Geocaching organization, The Georgia Geocachers Association! Please join us at Richard B. Russell State Park on 10 June 2017. Our meeting will start at 12:45 PM and will officially conclude by 2:00 PM. We will have a variety of items to raffle off, a birthday cake, along with hotdogs and drinks for all! After everyone catches up and grabs a snack, we will announce the 2017 class of the Georgia Geocachers Hall of Fame. All of the inductees have added something special to Geocaching in Georgia, and this is a great opportunity to come honor them and say thank you!
Anyone that wishes to bring a dish or a sweet to share, please feel free! The more the tastier!
There will be several items up for raffle at the event. Tickets will be available under the picnic shelter. All proceeds will go to benefit the GGA and help fund future events. Good luck!
As with all State Parks either an annual parking pass or a daily $5 pass must be purchased in order to park your vehicle within the grounds. You will also be required to adhere to all park rules and guidelines.
