Ichkeul lake is located near Binzerte belonging to the Ichkeul National Park, a magical sanctuary for birds, and also Tunisia's only water buffalo herd.
The cache is inside the National Park ( entrance is free but closing time is 6 PM). It is half way to the Ichkeul Summi, and the cache hiding place is visible from the track.
You will have a beautiful view on the lake (this lake is unusual in that it's salinity (saltiness) changes during the year as water flows in and out).
