Three generations of our family have enjoyed this park. Trails (some of them paved for wheelchair access), playgrounds,and the nearby zoo feature prominently in my own childhood memories. The area around this cache features abundant evidence that the park has held a special significance to many. The container is plastic, mason-jar-sized. One downside to the popularity of this mid-city park is the amount of trash along parts of the trail. Do the environment and your fellow geocachers a favor and pack out any non-cashe material you encounter! Enjoy!
We envisioned this cache as an easy, family-friendly find in a location that is perfect for a first Geocaching experience. As such, we don’t want anyone to go away disappointed. GPS under these trees can be wonky, so Hint contains spoilers that should help once within 50’ or so. Feel free to message us for help. We will do our best to reply in a timely manner.
