Mrs Lawley was a true pioneer who married Allan Lawley and lived at the top of the hill just SE of the garden . You never escaped a visit without having tea and treats .It had a nice maple shelterbelt around it that was lost due to road improvement . The Lawleys ceded the land for this road to avoid swamp and flooding on the road allowance route . A grand family deeply missed ,
