Moanbaun woods is a medium sized forest which is popular with the people of Watergrasshill and beyond. It has several entrances and plenty of trails to walk on. It also contains a small lake. None of the forest trails go anywhere near the lake and it is not overlooked from anywhere, so it is quite secret. The only way to the lake is along a rough path which doesn't connect with the forest trails. So the lake feels pretty wild and remote, even though it is only 100m from a road. We like this lake!!
The cache will be very hard to reach unless you find the path - use the waypoints. There is a parking waypoint at the nearest forest entrance (though any entrance will do if needed). Walk 150m along the road to the "Way In" waypoint. From here a path should be visible going down into a ditch and across to a gap at the edge of the forest. Walking boots will be needed in winter or if the ground is wet. In summer one may have to deal with some briars.
The cache is small camouflaged Tupperware box. GPS is poor under the trees so use the hint.
