NO ACCESS TO THIS CACHE AFTER NOVEMBER 1ST
Welcome to Moreau Lake State Park! This cache is located in the western regions of the Park, off Corinth Road. From Corinth Road, take Hawk Pond Road for approximately 1 mile to the parking area. (Note that the last ½ mile of Hawk Pond Road is a dirt road that needs to be driven carefully, best with a vehicle with high clearance.) From the parking area, we followed the blue trail for a nice loop of about 3.2 miles. Discovered a well out here along with stone foundations … be careful not to fall in … really.
This cache has been placed as part of the New York State Saratoga/Capital District Regional Geocache Challenge.
