PNWR 2 Traditional Cache

  The coordinates bring you next to one of the entrances to the Pablo National Wildlife Refuge. Take the time if you have it after finding the cache to drive the short road through the refuge. It has lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery to be seen. Use the refuge parking to get off the road, however take care as cache is across the road.
 

Fishing is allowed in the refuge (in accordance with the Flathead Indian Reservation Fishing, Bird Hunting and Recreation Regulations of CSKT and the MTFWP), however NO hunting or trapping at any times is allowed. 

All anglers must have in their immediate possession a Flathead Reservation Conservation permit with a fishing stamp or CSKT Tribal Identification Card.    As with much of the geocaching on the reservation, geocachers should obtain and carry a rec permit as well just to cover all your bases.  They are good for a year from the first of March to the following February 28th and can be bought from the Walmart in Polson, Ronan Sports & Western in Ronan, as well as several other locations within the Valley.
