Il posto è un po’ isolato ma piacevole da raggiungere. Non ci si passa per caso, bisogna proprio volerci andare in questa frazioncina chiamata Odiago e formata dalla chiesa di San Giorgio, una grangia (fattoria abbaziale), qualche appartamento in cascina da poco ristrutturata e una trattoria. Ma ne vale davvero la pena: Una strada piuttosto stretta, qualche salita e, a compenso, qualche discesa, un po’ di curve, granoturco che quando è alto nasconde la vista quasi a conservare la sorpresa sul paesaggio che si palesa non appena si superano i campi.
Eccolo, il piccolo borgo immerso nel verde del Parco Adda Nord con la cornice delle Prealpi lombarde alle sue spalle. Le lobbie sulla vecchia cascina, la torre medioevale, il campanile a cipolla e la vecchia fontana: qui il tempo si è fermato.
La cache, in grado di contenere Geocoin e TB di piccole dimensioni, è situata a qualche decina di metri dal borgo. Da qui si gode una splendida vista sul borgo stesso.
The place is a bit isolated but nice to get to. You do not have to go by accident, you just have to go to this frazioncina called Odiago and formed by the church of San Giorgio, a grangia (abbey farm), some recently restored farmhouse and a small restautant.
But it's really worth it: A somewhat narrow road, some climb and, in return, some descent, a bit of curves, mauve that when it is high hides the sight almost to keep the surprise on the landscape that is visible as soon as they pass the fields.
Here is the small hamlet nestled in the green of the Adda Nord Park with the frame of the Lombardy Precipices behind it. The lobbies on the old farmhouse, the medieval tower, the onion bell tower and the old fountain: here the time has stopped.
The cache, which can hold Geocoin and TB, is located some meters from the village. From here you enjoy a wonderful view of the village itself.
