This Cache is placed as part of the 2017 New York State Park Central Region Geocache Challenge. There are 67 geocaches hidden within 20 state parks and historic sites in this parks region, the first 100 people to find 40 or more caches will receive a special geocache challenge coin. NYS Parks Saratoga - Capital Region will be hosting a similar challenge!! 10 caches found in the Sara-Cap Region Challenge can be used toward the Central Challenge (and visa versa)!

This cache contains a unique stamp which must stay with the cache. Use this stamp to mark your passport. This stamp is NOT a trade item. Some of the items in the cache are park souvenirs and do not need to be replaced with a trade item.
To get to this cache, at Verona Beach State park, you will need to park in the main lot as you enter the park. There is a road to the left that goes past the playground parallel to the waterwith a turn off near the cache. It’s a really easy one that cachers will notice right away but hopefully, muggles will not! The terrain is listed as a two because there is a steep part to navigate leading down to the cache.
