This is the site of Genereux School - opened in 1915 , burnt down in Feb. 1943 , rebuilt then closed for good in 1958 . Named for the Genereux family who have populated this valley since the fur trade and still do .It was once claimed that a Genereux owned at least one quarter section on each section in the valley.
When seeking this cache its best to park on Strathcona road for safety . its a quick park and grab micro-magnetic on a wooden post ?
