Halt or we'll shoot Traditional Cache

   ROAD CLOSED !!!   This road Strathcona Road used to be a short route to get from Round Prarie area and  " The French Flats " as well as those north to the municipal boundry who had business to conduct in Dundurn . It remained open thru two world wars and Korea . Some lunatic religious fanatic kills a few people and now we have to drive 20 miles out of our way to travel 6 miles ???

Cache is most times a quick stop and grab pill bottle well above ground . The road may not be great if its wet or in winter since its been turned into a dead end . From the cache a trail goes north but it is also not in great shape when wet . The field NE of the cache is the mosquito infested         marsh where I spent my teen years putting up slough hay and hauling it with just bale hooks to load it by hand .
