This being a wherigo geocache you will need to download and play this wherigo cartridge. The wherigo cartridge is of the play anywhere variety, meaning you may play it anywhere you like as long as you have 250 feet of open space all the way around you that you can wander around in.
Going to the posted coordinates will not find you this cache. It could be a good place to play this Wherigo. You will be in the middle of a paved circle to play or pick an open field close by to play. Please read the cache page, you can play this cartridge anywhere to get the final location.
Starting Location
This is a play anywhere cartridge. It requires an open space of about 250 square feet. Parking lots, parks, and fields all work good. Start the cartridge where you are standing and the grid will be created around you putting you in the center square. Make sure that you pick Alaska as the state to play.
Playing Tips
*When using a Garmin GPS the cartridge may have a slow response to touch screen commands. Patience is key. Press the item to select only once and wait for the unit to respond. If you press more than once it may affect the next screen.
*Always save your work and save often. By saving you do not have to start over.
*Some have reported that the Android app created a much bigger grid than a Garmin GPS which would require a large area to solve the puzzle. In other people's experience this did not happen. As I did not write this program I can't comment on what to expect from using an app to run the cartridge.
How to Play
This Wherigo is a puzzle that can be solved in the field but a pencil and paper may be helpful. After you have solved this puzzle you will be rewarded with coordinates to a cache. This cache will be within 2 mile of the starting coordinates. This Wherigo is designed to provide final coordinates for Wherigo caches in many different states so it is very important that you select Alaska when you first start playing to get the final coordinates for the local cache.
The playing field is divided into 9 squares arranged in a 3 X 3 grid. Wherever you start the game the virtual grid will be built around you placing you in the virtual center square. There will be 9 number items in the game numbered 1 through 9. As you start 2 of the numbers are already placed into the grid. The other 7 numbers are in your virtual inventory. Your job is to find the two placed numbers' locations by exploring the grid, then solve the puzzle and travel around the grid to place the remaining numbers into the correct boxes so that the numbers add up to 15 in all directions. Instructions are in the cartridge under TASKS in the main screen. Remember to select Alaska to get the correct coordinates for this cache.

Special thanks to Rusty O Junk, the creator of the original cache that started this project with the cache Fifteen Puzzle.
Thank you for including Alaska in this project.
Thanks to Goldfinch for starting the process and being patient while we got it finished.
