Anaconda - YYCCAR17 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Cache Effect: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

This cache is entered in the NIGHT AT THE MOVIES category.

While listed as one of the 100 Most Enjoyably Bad Movies Ever Made in The Official Razzie Movie Guide, there is no doubt this 1997 movie is still a guilty pleasure of many. Ophidiophobia, in all of its greater and lesser forms, has spawned a thriving niche movie market, clearly proven by a quick Google search for movies about snakes.

Nominated for six Golden Raspberry Awards in 1998, perhaps the most painful loss was experienced by the animatronic anaconda, nominated in the Worst New Star category (Dennis Rodman won for Double Team). Because how often are animatronic anacondas ever nominated for anything? Tragic.

In Anaconda, a crew sets out to film a documentary about a long-lost tribe living along the Amazon River but encounter trouble along the way. Perhaps the tribe are descendants of Incans. Wonder how they communicate?

No need for words to enjoy the amazing view to the east from this spot. The geocache is not at the posted coordinates, but the way to find it is!
