This cache may be approached by paddling or by walking. Please check the Additional Waypoints below, because the approaches are entirely different!
We were unsure what Terrain to assign to this cache, since it can be approached either from the water (Terrain 5) or by a short walk (Terrain 1.5). So we've split the difference with a Terrain 3. Note that if you walk, it's not really a Terrain 3, but a 1.5.
To access the paddling caches on Lake Julian, you may rent a canoe, paddleboat, or johnboat at the Additional Waypoint listed below. Or you may bring your own paddled or electric power watercraft. If using your own boat, a small daily launch fee is charged. The park opens at 8 am and closes at about dark.
For your safety, no swimming or wading is allowed.

Due to the many recreational muggles on the lake and shoreline, this container is a micro. PLEASE rehide it so that it's not easily seen by muggles, but don't make it impossible for us cachers!
