I still remember the confusion and uncertainty of beginning the publication process for my first cache hide ("On Top, Down Under", which is still active). How does one go about this? Am I doing it correctly? Have I met all the proper criteria? What do all of these options mean? Well, it "went off without a hitch", as they say, and it's only gotten easier since then.
Oh, granted, I didn't place ALL of these by myself. Nope. Due to various "life events", more than half of these caches have been adopted from seven different fellow cachers...from as few as one cache to as many as over 350! It's a big commitment, a huge responsibility, and a great honor! I've made every attempt to leave on the cache pages the names of those who originally created and placed those caches. Some have been altered from the original location or style due to safety or terrain issues, and only a few have been archived.
Ah, and there are still more waiting to be published, more waiting to find a "home", and new ideas developing every day! I hope in some small way that at least a few of these have made the hobby a little more fun, a little more challenging, and a little more rewarding for you. They have for me!
