This cache has been placed for the YYCCAR17 event, held May 26-28, 2017. In the spirit of the event I hope it won't be found before the official start of the event at 10:00am on May 27, 2017. Caches for the YYCCAR17 event are published early so the geocaching community can plan their search routes before the event starts.
Airdrie seems have ponds all over the place. They are mostly storm water runoff areas but they double as small parks and an oasis for our feathered friends. Most are like the one across the street - with a paved trail around it, benches and garbage bins. They're popping up all around the newer industrial areas and I think they're a great idea - hope you enjoy it too!
