This cache is located across the road from where the Bedford County Almshouse stood and where it's cemetery is located. The main building had been erected in 1872 but was probably in existence prior to that. The main building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 but burned down in 2006 and has since been demolished. The last burial in the cemetery was in 1976.
