The 3.7km length, with passing places is notorious for its humps & bumps, turning it into a rollercoaster of a road popular with young drivers & used several times a year as a stage for local car rallies
This series of caches can be found either by walking, or by drive bys as each GZ is next to, or close by a passing place, in which there is generally enough room for 2 or 3 cars. If walking, be aware of occasional traffic as the road is very narrow & wear hi viz clothing if attempting these in the dark.
The caches are mostly unique. I have been influenced by the short geocaching film " It's not trash , it's a geocache!" Meaning there are no bisons, film containers or magnetic nano caches, making them difficult to replace, so please be careful when handling & ensure they are returned to the exact place you found them, where they are well out of sight of muggles. Thank you
Tweezers will probably be required & please bring your own pen
On a clear day, there are magnificent views of Peel & the West of the island. Also Scotland & Ireland are often clearly visible.
Be aware that the road can occasionally be closed for car rallies & cycling events.
