Cache is not at posted coordinates, this is the starting position of a Wherigo game. When you complete the game, the coordinates for a physical cache are given. This Wherigo cartridge is intended for GPS enabled smartphone play. You will need the Wherigo app for iPhone & iPad and the WhereYouGo app for play on an Android device.
Be sure your volume is up since there should be sounds (not needed for winning, though, just for fun.) If you get lost try using the map function in the menu.
WARNING: At least 2 locations are somewhat wooly such that ticks, snakes, poison ivy, and sticker vines are potential threats. Be Careful! You will need to go here to download the cartridge.
IMPORTANT: You will visit a total of 9 locations with a photo for identification at each stop. At each location (within the proximity zone) you will be given a multiple choice question with 3 or 4 selections. When playing on iPhone you get a split screen with photo on the top half and answer choices on the bottom half of the screen. It will be necessary to touch and slide the photo up to reveal the question. When playing on an Android the question and the first of 3 or 4 choices will appear when you enter the proximity zone.
To view the other choices, touch the open choice or the lower right hand corner of the screen. You can only progress to the next location by selecting the right answer which will be on dedication plaques, signs, photos etc. within the zone. If you select the wrong answer you must leave and re-enter the zone (i.e. drive around the block) to get another chance to do it correctly. At the final destination an item will appear in your inventory. When you open the inventory you will receive final instructions to solve the puzzle.
