Some of you may remember my old Dairy Dock cache (GC2P2EJ) located here on the opposite bank. It was there to highlight the remains of the old Dairy Rd Bridge. That old bridge was removed when the two new (old now) bridges were built, however the old 'dock' remained. Alas, now, the new whopping Malcom Fraser bridge has gone smack bang across the top - destroying the old dock!
But not all is lost! On the north bank of the river, one relic of the days gone by remains! - The old staircase to the dock! This staircase is now rather sad, as it has nowhere to go. So to save it from being completely neglected, I have placed a cache here 
. See attached map showing how Dairy Rd used to connect to Moreshead Dr and the staircase.
NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT to access this cache from the road! There is nowhere to stop, let alone park! Park at the provided coordinates and follow the bike path to the stairs. Then, climb the stairs, and the cache will be at the top on the right hand side.
