Geocache Description:


The original Changi Chapel was construct in Singapore by prisoners of war in Changi Camp in 1944. Its construction was an act of enduring faith in the midst of extreme adversity. This chapel was dedicated as a national memorial to all Australian Prisoners of war on the 15 August 1988.

GZ can be found at: S35° 18.ABC' E149° 09.DEF', where:

A = Number of crosses displayed in and around the chapel,
B = 0 if this is the original chapel build in Singapore, or B = 1 if this is a replica,
C = Number of words in the title of the Changi Chapel plaque nearby,
D = Number of roof tiles from the edge of the roof to the gable -4,
E = Number of lights in the ground around the chapel,
F = Number of gates into the chapel.

Note: As Duntroon is an active base for the 11th Infantry Battalion, it is not recommended that you seek the answers at the posted coordinates at night! - GZ itself can be visited at any time.
