The Surrey Mid-Week Event continues its travels and from 6.30pm to 10.30pm on Wednesday 26th July 2017 will be to the east of the county when we meet at:
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CACHE MEET IS ON WEDNESDAY
It's a great way to meet fellow cachers and share caching stories (or even pick up a few hints for those puzzles) over a glass or two. If you've never been to an event before you'll be made very welcome, whether you are from Surrey, or farther afield. There will be the normal opportunity to swap and discover Travel Bugs and Geocoins.
The pub does food and they would appreciate an idea of numbers, so please can you log a 'will attend' with some indication of whether you are likely to want to eat, so we can be courteous and let them know. See their website for more details.
You are spoilt for choice if you wish to look for caches before the event. There are the two Mugswell Circuits by purplepineapple if you want traditional caches. For those who like puzzle caches there are the I love/hate puzzle series and the Look Sharp series both by parmstro and the Coal Post caches by BaSHful as well as many other caches – in fact there are around 500 caches within 4 miles.
Other monthly events in neighbouring counties.
The Surrey events have been inspired by the success of the Sussex and Hampshire meets and are nominally held on the fourth Thursday of every month. They are organized by local cachers and can be held anywhere in the county of Surrey. We are constantly looking for fresh volunteers to host events in different parts of the county.
