Mission Beach is a very easily accessible area with parking that has calm waters and is relatively unlittered compared to some of the popular spots around Kodiak. I am not sure what is wrong with people. Anyway, this is a park and grab in a high muggle traffic area. This is a good spot for winter evenings/sunsets.
